| Nagshead Cottage
is an attractive stone built former Coach House which has been converted to
provide a comfortable, well equipped, holiday home for up to 4 people at any
time of the year. It is beside a cycle track in a quiet no through road just
off the cricket green in Parkend village – at the heart of the Royal Forest of
Dean. There is open woodland and the RSPB Nagshead Nature Reserve behind the cottage. The shop/post office and two village pubs, which serve good food, are just a short stroll away. The sitting/dining room with open stonework and exposed beams has a cosy real flame effect fire and there is ample storage heating, sky digital TV, video/DVD and radio/cassette/CD player. The modern kitchen has a fridge/freezer, automatic washing machine/tumble drier, microwave oven, full size electric cooker and comprehensive range of crockery and kitchen equipment. Upstairs there is one double and one twin bedroom with pine furniture and exposed beams, fully fitted bathroom with electric mixer shower over the bath. There is thermostatically controlled panel heating throughout the upstairs. Included in the rental are all pillows, duvets, bed linen and towels. The small, enclosed patio garden with table & chairs is for the private use of guests and there is private car parking adjacent to the cottage. There is excellent walking from the doorstep - well behaved adult dogs welcome. Weekly lets commence Saturday at 2:00 pm and end at 10:00 am the following Saturday unless agreed otherwise. Shorter breaks available by arrangement. Parkend village is on the B4234 between Lydney and Coleford.
