| Squirrel Cottage
is a former railway worker’s cottage in a lovely woodland setting. It has been
furnished and equipped to a high standard and is an ideal ‘getaway’ for two
people at any time of the year. The cottage is one of a quiet little cluster in Church Walk, quite literally at the end of a forest track, yet only a short stroll from the shop/post office and two village pubs, which serve good food. On the ground floor there is a cosy sitting room with open fire, sky digital TV, DVD and radio/cassette/CD player. The fully fitted modern kitchen has a fridge, microwave, full size electric cooker and comprehensive range of crockery & kitchen utensils. The bathroom is downstairs. There is an electric mixer shower over the bath, heated towel rail and storage heater. The bedroom with double bed is upstairs. Night storage heating in every room is included in the rental. All bed linen, towels etc. are provided. The private rear garden is fully enclosed and has a patio area with table and chairs. The garden gate opens into the forest and gives direct access to the many miles of woodland walks. There is private parking for one car in front of the cottage, which is at the end of a forest track. We welcome well behaved adult dogs. Weekly lets commence Saturday at 4:00 pm,
although usually ready earlier, and end at 11:00 am the following Saturday, unless agreed otherwise.
