As seasons unfold the living forest displays different hues and moods. Our cottages are available for weekly bookings all year round and for winter weekends. Our usual changeover day is Saturday but occasionally we can be more flexible. If you can’t get away for a whole week, short breaks at short notice, and split weeks, starting or ending on a Saturday are sometimes available. Please phone or email to discuss your individual requirements. We are pleased to offer advice and assistance with your holiday plans, as well as tell you more about our cottages and the local area.

To Book – please phone or email to check availability. If we can meet your requirements, we will send you a booking form – by post or by email. We ask for a returnable £50 deposit when booking. This is usually returned within a few days of leaving the cottage intact!
On receipt of the completed booking form and deposit we will send a letter of confirmation and let you know when the full payment will be due – 6 weeks before the holiday.


Cancellation - If the booking is cancelled after we have received full payment, we will refund the full payment and deposit, providing we are able to re-let the property. We strongly advise our customers to arrange appropriate holiday insurance in case of cancellation.
 

Directions to Parkend by Road

 From the North

 Take the A48 from Gloucester towards Chepstow and turn Right as you leave the village of Blakeney, signposted to Coleford, Parkend, ‘Go Ape’ and ‘Scenic Drive’.  There is no road number but it is called ‘New Road’.  Stay on this road for Parkend.

From the South

Take the A48 from Chepstow towards Gloucester. After the level crossing in Lydney turn Left onto the B4234 signposted to Whitecroft, Parkend and ‘Norchard Steam Centre’.  Follow the road through Whitecroft to Parkend.

 From the West

From Monmouth take the A4156 to Coleford (via Staunton).  In Coleford go straight on at the traffic lights and then turn first Left signposted to Coalway and Parkend.  There is no road number but it is called ‘Lords Hill’.  Stay on this road for Parkend.
